Mode of study

Classes, Group work. Repeated video screenings (3-4 repetitions of approx. 5 minute examples) and subsequent formulated observations and analyses of the examples offered which have not been previously „announced“ (examples of group pieces, exercises or parts of performances or in the field events of well-known ensembles, an introduction to Teatru Laboratorium, Odin Teatret, Gardzienic, etc.). This expands student knowledge in dialogue with other parts of their skills in the perception and interpretation of acting and direction of various quality, collaboration with the audience, etc. At the close each lesson is an example arranged into the context of the work of that ensemble or actor. Gradually students skills grow in the recognition of the specifics of certain theatre expression and their bearing in its sense and awareness of the scale of potential of theatre-antrhopology approaches (comparative examples).

Prerequisites and co-requisites

No entrance requirements other than an interest in this manner of study.
