- Basics of music theory as a path to creation - interpretation.
- Sound and tone, music as the supreme organization of tone material in strength and color.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Bearing in notation, hearing and rhythmic abilities, simple notation writing.
Course contents
Curriculum:
Sound and tone; music as the ultimate organisation of tone material.
Syllabus:
Repeating and practising subjects analytically in a concrete, selected musical material, working with a musical form (monitoring and „editing“ in musical notation), preparing a sound plan from detailed workshop training.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on lecture participation, written and oral exams. Overal grading is comprised of: 50% written exam, 50% oral exam.
