To teach students to understand the character as a model (symbol) of action and to do so in practical assignments when analyzing dramatic texts.

DRAMATIC CHARACTER AS A MODEL OF ACTION
Discourse - discourse as action - personal action - mutual action of dramatic characters as a specific subsystem of the integral system of action in a drama - syntax as story.

Assessment methods and criteria
Exams based on developed - submitted in written form - analyses of selected aspects of a drama. For the award of credit 80% attendance a class participation are necessary.
