Contents
The course loosely follows on from previous modules with a lecturer. We will deal with the creation of costumes and masks based on the traditions of Japanese theater. Part of the course will be the creation of scenes and ways of movement and a specific kind of illusory lighting of figures and backgrounds.

An introduction to cultural appropriation and the influence of Japanese culture in fashion and theater
Gain hands-on experience in sewing and scene making
Production of costumes and masks within the project
Specific lighting and scene preparation for theater photography
