This course offers the student an introduction into the world of animation. It will demonstrate ability to produce creativity of the students in field of animation. During this course, students will learn the understanding of artistic and technical values in animation field. Learning how to use multimedia in the theatre to increase it. The aim of the course is
to prepare students to become an artist in animation field.
Objectives:
1)Introducing the basics of theory, aesthetics and technology of animated film and multimedia.
- Teaching basic possibilities of matching different digital technologies in order to gain a coherent artistic message while realizing own short film - animation /puppet/ or multimedia project in context of its usage in theatre space /puppet theatre, small theatrical form, musical performance, etc./
Activities cover spheres of real and virtual space, such as:
·digital film/computer animation, live recording/
·film editing NLE
·presentation of the film/multiprojection, mapping, video-art, video installation, VJ’ing performance, live processing
·using the possibilities of multimedia and interaction of computers and technical equipment
- Teaching preparation and realization of shooting script for the purposes of broadly understood multimedia and animation creation /original film, documentary film, video clip, trailer of theatre project/
