- Artistic cinema in the field of Czech and European film
- Options for financing and coproducing films in the Czech Republic and Europe
- Position of festivals in the field of Czech and European film
- Choosing themes suitable for coproduction with Czech partners; estimating the options for international coproduction correctly
- Full-length debut and its specificities
- Czechia a country of international projects: opportunities for involvement in international productions as assistants (moderated debate with a professional filmmaker)
- Elevator Pitch of the relevance of your story for a Czech producer (practicing informal presentations of the theme with a focus of the territory and the students’ own themes)
Learning outcomes
Students will learn how to think about their themes from the viewpoint of how it can be financed in the Czech Republic and Europe and what opportunities there are for involvement in the Czech film industry.

No special skills expected, just come on time and be ready to learn something new.

The lecturer assesses students’ participation, and they will be asked to write a short essay on a topic of their choice.
