Obsah
This course introduces students to the field of artistic research with a focus on photography and related media. It provides basic theoretical and methodological tools for connecting artistic practice with research inquiry. The semester project The Body Politic examines the body as a political and social site where power structures, ideologies, and cultural norms are inscribed and enacted.
Through practice-led research, workshops, critical discussions, and collaborative work, students will begin to formulate their own research questions rooted in artistic practice. The course includes a guest lecture and workshop by artist Joanna Piotrowska.
