Obsah
Documentation, cataloguing, and dissemination of one’s own work are fundamental components of professional artistic practice. Documentation functions as a tool for personal development, as well as a cultural, historical, and critical framework through which an evolving practice is understood, shared, and preserved. This module explores how documentation produces meaning. It examines the relationship between the object, context, and image, and questions conventions within exhibition-making, publishing, and studio practice.
Teaching takes place in the form of seminars, group discussions, practical exercises, technical workshops, and visits to galleries and archives. Students are guided towards both independent and collaborative work during these sessions, responding to a series of assignments and scenarios.
