Obsah

The course focuses on working in the plein air using natural light, working with image sharpness, cropping and composition. The ways of thinking about photography as a means of making a statement about a particular place, their variability, mutual compatibility and appropriateness in relation to intention are also inherent. The course introduces students to the basic laws of photographic imaging in capturing space and reproducing it in the surface of a photograph. In the practical part, attention is given to working with medium format equipment, appropriate use of light, the effects of weather and the possibilities of using classical techniques.

1-2/ introduction to the topic of landscape photography - specifics of the industry, dependence on external influences and their use, sources of inspiration

2-3/ research of the location, accentuation of characteristic features, setting in context, author's research

4-5/ accompanying lectures, other sources of inspiration according to the specification of individual projects

6-10/ individual fieldwork, individual and joint consultations, presentation of ongoing work and process

11/ joint consultation, presentation of work in the context of lessons learned, proofreading

12/ post-production, editing, drafts of the ideal final presentation, evaluation

Výsledky učení

The student is able to work independently in the field, can map a given location in terms of photographic record, set his own creative intention, prepare conditions, communicate with local residents, find out the necessary information in relation to the depicted aspect of the territory, choose the appropriate technique and weather conditions
