Obsah
The photography course focuses on practical exercises in the studio. Students work in teams and learn through specific photographic assignments, such as working with objects, working with light (understanding different light sources and their properties), manipulating the background, creating scenography, exploring the photogenic qualities of materials, and developing collaboration skills (including role hierarchy within a photography team). The practical exercises foster students’ ability to work creatively even with limited technical and time resources. Each assignment is approached with the student’s own creative input. The workshop is designed to provide a platform for creative freedom and experimentation.
The course takes place as a two-day, full-day workshop held twice per semester. The teaching focuses on intuitive work with materials, structure, and color. We focus on still life and portrait photography; in both genres, we work with props.

Upon completing the course, students:
– Are familiar with studio lighting techniques and the photographic studio environment; they know how to prepare the workspace for the execution of specific tasks.
– Are able to work both independently and as part of a team, handling both technical and creative aspects of assigned projects.
– Begin to build a portfolio that meets the technical and aesthetic standards of professional commercial practice, while reflecting their individual artistic perspective.
