Obsah
The studio in the Master's programme is a place that corresponds in its specialisation and focus to the student's previous artistic development. In addition to working on his/her own original project, the student actively participates in the studio programme, attends joint consultations, completes individual assignments in the form of short exercises and takes part in other events within the studio activities (visits to the studios of significant artists, joint visits to exhibitions, studio study trips, etc.).
A specific task of the first semester in the MFA program is to revise the intention for the MFA in the light of previous results and experiences, based on individual consultations with the studio director. In these individual consultations, the student is offered expanding references and inspirational suggestions that refine the original au-torial intention, the form of which the student presents in the cloistered examination. In individual cases, it is possible to present a meaningful part of the project if it is a large-scale work that gradually leads to the form of the artistic part of the final state examination.
01 - 02 - individual and joint consultations, formulating the meaning of the project within the framework of their work and within the contemporary context of visual art.
02 - 03 - Revising and expanding existing sources of inspiration and context of meaning and purpose.
04 - 05 - choice of medium and specification of scope, practical time-management, formulation of techno-logical problems and search for solutions.
05 - 07 - practical implementation with ongoing consultation, maintaining attention to changes in the project relative to the original meaning
08 - 09 - solving the final form of the work through individual and joint consultations
10 - 11 - critical discussion within the studio, discussion of the verbal explication of the project and suggestions for improvement, finalizing the solution of the adjustment of the work in the space where the studio pre-presentations are realized
