Obsah kurzu

The course takes the form of a seminar and joint consultations on a specified topic. The second topic of the Master's Practicum is usually determined by a conference that takes place in mid-November. These include topics such as paratexts of photography, time preservation, creative misuse of technology, the atomic anthropocene, etc. Listeners work with a topic for which they are given a fairly extensive theoretical foundation, which is supplemented by the work of specific artists, projects that transcend the disciplines of the visual arts. Listeners learn to search, analyze and develop sources of inspiration in the field of expressive tendencies and the work of their predecessors. The course is closely linked to other MA practice courses and may be supplemented by a visit to a specialist institution.

1 participation in a conference

2 - joint presentation - reflection on conference papers - paper, presentation

3 - own research and analysis of the topic - original extension of the approach to the topic, own inspirational sources

04-05 seminar - discussion of the extension of the topic and its application in the visual arts

06 - collaborative presentation of the beginning of the author's research based on visual examples and a paper Learning outcomes: the student will be able to search, analyze and develop inspirational sources for his/her own work; in this semester he/she will further learn to use research-oriented conferences as a source of inspiration and theoretical and methodological anchoring for his/her own work.
