The tuba is an instrument of many music ensembles and genres. This course provides students with the skills necessary for playing the tuba. This course must guide the stuent to the final bachelor course. All work with the student is connected to the bachelor's graduation concert and the bachelor's thesis. An appropriate repertoire and topic are sought. In order to place the greatest technical demands on the student, etudes are selected which are the most challenging in technique, embouchure and breathing - Bordogni, Hause, Hilprecht. Students attain refined fingering technique and the ability to hold any tone. The tone quality must fulfill the requirements of compositions from all style periods. The intonation level must bear the most demanding requirements. A personal approach is required. The repertoire of this course reflects the interest of the student and becomes their calling card. It is necesary to go through key repertoire pieces - Frackenpohl, Bach, Williams, Gregson, Zámečník, Plog, Koetzier.
