The aim of the module is to expand student knowledge about education programs, markets and co-production forums focused on documentary film.

Course contents

Ex Oriente Film is and international workshop of original documentary films focused on creative development, and financing. During the 3 week meetings, directors develop topics, stories, visual styles and presentations of their prepared films. Producers will work intensively on the finance plan, production and distribution strategies of the project and acquire knowledge of the international market.

Part of the program is lectures and consultations on the legal and economic aspects of production, masterclasses and case studies.
