Working procedures originate from separated stores of media and projects. The introduction proceeds through working procedures of basic video editing - from loading the material into the computer through the rough assembly sequence, refining adjustments, various types of manipulations of content parts to variations of forming the output format.

Among the lecturers will be guests – other experts from this field of work.

Principles and basics of digital adjustments of video.

Discussion about ethics and creative possibilities of visual forms.

Practical exercise – realization of individual interactive DVD showreel.

Periodic excursus into the history of the culture of image in the form of a projection with a discussion (video clip, video art, animated and experimental film etc.).

Introduction into the topic of multimedial form.

Work with and develompent of a static image; presentation of graphics standards and technologies.

Familiarization with basic adjustments of image; post-production software as a tool of creative visual thinking.

Tricks, interactions, presentation of multimedial work.

Script, preparation, realization and finalization of the DVD project.

Demonstration and practical realization will use the licensed tools of the software package Adobe Video Collection (Photoshop CS, After Effects Pro 6.5, Audition 1.5, Encore DVD 1.5)

Seznámení se základy televizní techniky a technologie. Vývojové trendy a budoucnost televize jako všestranného multimediálního nástroje.

Předpoklady a další požadavky

Meant for beginners as well as advanced students. We will mantain comprehensibility but allow for more specialized questions. Students should already be familiar with the basics of work in FCP and AVID.

1. Specifics of FCP environment, basic environment settings. Support programs.
2. Problems with format processing. Scan. /DV, HDV, AVCHD, XDCAM, RED, DPX/.
3. The choice of codecs for smooth editing.
4. The continuity in handing the materials to audio workstations, color corrections and laboratories.
5. Sharing materials with co-creators – h.264, wetransfer.com
6. Methods of experts depending on the type of projects.
