Obsah

The course introduces students to the basics of self-presentation in the world of art and photography. Through individual lectures by various speakers, students gain insight into institutions and opportunities available in the contemporary art world, an overview of professional opportunities at photography festivals, the basics of presenting their work through portfolio design, an introduction to management, marketing and communication in an artistic and creative context, and an introduction to the basics of copyright law with a focus on the specific needs of artists and photographers.

Lectures take place every other week, alternating with FAMU Guest Talks, through which it is possible to sign up for individual portfolio reviews with selected international guests.

Completion of the course is awarded for active participation in the lectures.

April 29 – Tereza Ježková (basics of management in an artistic and creative context)

Výsledky učení

Students have a basic overview of institutions in the world of art and photography, know how to navigate them, and know how to present their work in various contexts.
