Contents

The content of Dance Education for Children 1 is aimed at theoretical introduction to the teaching forms. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of creative pedagogical thinking, independent thinking and the ability to reflect. In the winter semester, the practical part of the course is then combined with observation in various elementary art schools and dance studios, where the student produces a report from each observation.

The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the teaching form mainly through games, technical exercises and guided improvisation. The student is introduced to creative pedagogical thinking and reasoning through theoretical analysis and evaluation in the form of discussion, enabling them to grasp and process a given topic from different perspectives, experiences and possibilities.

A compulsory component of the Dance Education of Children course is a visit to a regional or national round of a dance show organized by the Ministry of Education or NIPOS ARTAMA, or other professional organizations, taking into account the student's specialization.
