Learning objective:

The training serves to improve the technique of classical ballet. The aim is to consolidate and verify the basic principles of this technique, to develop physical abilities, to develop movement memory.

The form of the training follows the form in professional ballet companies, where the dancer deepens his/her abilities and fitness through daily practice with the help of such a purposefully learned and guided stereotype. At the same time, the training emphasizes the connection with the pedagogical work and the knowledge that the teacher himself/herself must control what he/she will teach. It is therefore about understanding the importance of acquired practical skills for quality pedagogical work.

Thematic areas:

The training is based, like the CBT methodology, on the basic system and principles of Method A. J. Vaganova, but it is enriched with links and combinations of different schools or styles of classical dance, e.g. Cecchetti, Bournonville, Balanchine, the form of training is connected with the work and system of the teacher.

The difficulty of the training is adapted to the technical ability of the students.

The basic form of classical ballet training:

Exercises - à la barre, au milieu, allegro

à la barre
