Learning objective:
The main objective of the course is to teach the student to develop independent thinking about movement, especially dance movement. The student gradually puts into context all the anatomical and kinesiological facts learned and gives them a dynamic form. He should „stir up his knowledge“. The course also aims to make the student a good observer, evaluator and corrector of movement, i.e. to see, talk about and understand movement, so that he or she can love movement in all its variety.
Thematic areas:
- definition of the centre of the human body
- deep stabilization system of the spine
- posture, postural functions of the spine and postural disorders
- biomechanics of breathing
- diaphragm - function, relation to organ systems, functional disorders
- pelvic floor - function, relation to organ systems, functional disorders
- abdominal muscle function
- musculus iliopsoas as an emotional muscle and an important stabilizer of the dancer's axial apparatus
- shoulder joint - function, dysfunctions, connections within the body scheme
- hip joint - function, dysfunction, connections within the body scheme
- knee joint - function, dysfunction, connections within the body scheme
- axial organ - head, spine and pelvis - functional relationships, observation and assessment
- centration and stabilisation of the joint - concept of centration, stability, stabilisation
- starting position for movement and progression of movement - posture and alignment, initiation of movement
- arch of the foot and hand - kinesiology of the foot and hand
- upper and lower limb support in relation to posture and locomotion
Learning outcomes
- observation of the dancer's movement expression
- analysis of the dancer's movement expression
- evaluation of the dancer's movement expression
The observation, analysis and evaluation of the dancer's movement expression leads to the repetition of individual thematic areas of the teaching subject in the form of a complex kinesiological analysis. In this way, students take responsibility for their future students in their pedagogical activity and are able to advise them professionally.
