Information on the combined form:
The course is taught in a combined form of contact and non-contact teaching in a ratio of approximately 1:4, i.e. 40 hours distance learning, 10 hours full-time per semester.
The course creates conditions for learning to move consciously in the present body and mind. Based on one's own immediate experience, there is an awareness of the basic principles of dance medicine, i.e. elimination of excess effort and tension, increased speed, flexibility, stability, communication, etc.
The course is linked to the content of the material covered in the course Fundamentals of Movement Training 1. It is taught in two semesters.

The aim of study
- is to get to know one's own body and its possibilities as a tool of communication so that the body becomes a source of communication
- to understand the basic principles related to the health of the dancer
- to understand the basic anatomical, biomechanical and motor principles related to dance education
- develop theoretical and research skills and apply them to one's own teaching practice, i.e. be able to select adequate conditioning and somatic practices and use them appropriately
- be familiar with the basic literature and current trends in sports medicine
- be able to handle basic work with exercise and medical equipment and be able to incorporate them appropriately into practical teaching
Learning outcomes
The student will get to know his/her own body and its possibilities as a communication tool so that the body becomes a source of communication.
The student will understand the basic principles related to the health of the dancer.
The student will learn basic anatomical, biomechanical and motor principles related to dance education.
Develops theoretical and research skills and applies them to own teaching practice, i.e. can select adequate conditioning and somatic practices and use them appropriately.
He/she is familiar with the basic literature and current trends in sports medicine.
He/she is proficient in the basic work with exercise and medical equipment and can incorporate them appropriately into practical teaching.
He/she knows the basics of simple biomechanical analysis.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Processing of assigned tasks during the course, credit test with a minimum score of 75%.
Other requirements: attendance of at least 80%, activity in class
Note
Teaching combines monological, applied, interactive teaching methods, encourages self-study and critical thinking.
Contact in distance form will be provided:
- telephone, email, video calls
- through group platforms for communication between students (social networks, internet, apps, moodle, etc.)
Independent work of the student within the contactless learning consists of:
- application of specific methodological knowledge in their own pedagogical practice
- analysing the prepared lesson and evaluating its effectiveness
- making recordings and notes of the lesson for subsequent discussion and defence in scheduled consultations
Specific examples of tasks and exercises:
- the student can describe specific examples of correct and incorrect body posture
- the student is able to analyse movement (muscle involvement, functionality, endurance, etc.)
The student will produce a written analysis and reflection of the topic according to the thematic headings.
The student presents an example of a practical application to the topics.
The student will present a list of the literature studied for each topic.
