Contents

The student chooses one of the courses Didactics and Methodology of Classical Ballet Technique, Modern and Contemporary Dance and Folk Dance, which is not included as a compulsory major in their study plan. The teaching content then corresponds to one of the selected subjects.

The aim of the teaching is to provide students with a deeper understanding of didactic principles to broaden the students' overview of didactic and methodological thinking of a different specialisation than their own.

Thus, it will provide future dance teachers with a context of other methodological approaches and processes that can contribute to the innovation of the specialization studied.

Learning outcomes

The student chooses the subject due to and as a complement to their professional specialization. The student is able to present the methodological framework of the chosen subject and confront it contextually with the didactics and methodology of their own specialisation.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Credit in the form of a practical presentation testing understanding of the content of the selected subject.

Other requirements: attendance 75%, activity in the classroom, preparation of partial tasks according to the requirements of the selected subject.
