The course includes practicing classical dance techniques. It is primarily a practically guided class, focusing on a regimen of training professional sequence of exercises.
The aim of the study is systematic exercise leading to an increase in fitness - physical and cognitive.
Thematic areas:
The basic form of classical dance training, from the simplest steps and links to more complex combinations
Workout
- à la barre - exercises at the barre, combinations include all the basic elements of classical dance technique
- au milieu - exercises in space, combinations include all the basic elements of classical dance technique
- allegro - small, medium and large jump combinations
Learning outcomes
Detailed knowledge of classical dance technique, i.e. a movement „vocabulary“ of 600 pas and tempos, all positions, poses and placements of the feet, legs, arms, wrists, torso (hips, waist, shoulders, shoulder blades) and head.
Advanced coordination and conditioning execution of all classical exercises.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Credit in the first semester is awarded on the basis of a review of knowledge, skill and ability in practicing established connections in the structure of classical dance instruction.
