Contents
Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts, institutions, financing of dance arts (state budget, grant system) and other areas necessary for a general overview and requirements for producers in the preparation of a dance performance. Part of the covered topics will include preparaing a budget and grant request for a project, collaboration with a dramaturgist and choreographer on the performance production, post-production projeccts, PR, advertising, marketing, hosted and contracted activity of an ensemble, foreign perspective, grant support and the like.
Learning outcomes
Students are acquainted with the basic concepts, institutions, financing of dance arts (state budget, grant system) and other areas necessary for a general overview and requirements involved in production in the preparation of a dance performance. Some of the topics covered witl be budgeting and project grant requests, collaboration with a dramaturgist and choreographer in performance production, post-production projects, PR, advertisement, marketing, hosted and contracted activities of the ensemble, an overview of activity abroad, grant support and the like.
