Course description and topic scope:
Documentary Dept. group practice exercise - preparations take place in the "Preparations for a TV Experiment: course and technical parameters of the exercise are determined by the production list in the Studio FAMU White Book - see https://www.famu.cz/cs/studio-famu/dokumenty-vyrobni-listy/
In the group practice exercise the student shoots a short film in Studio FAMU. The theme comes from one real event which took place in the meida and is given by the instructor at the beginning of the semester. The student executes the exercise in collaboration with DAMU Alternative and Puppet Theatre Dept. actors and a crew made up of the Camera Dept. Cinematography Master's study, Sound Design Dept, Editing Dept and Production Dept. Starting shooting begins upon Execution council approval of the written topic, script and shooting plan. After shooting there is analysis of the rough material, editing, and image and sound post-production.
