The module consists of two parts. Firstly, a masterclass by editor Cristiano Travaglioli within the Cinergy programme on Friday 10 April 2026 and a follow-up module for KSS students on Saturday 11 April 2026, based on a debate with students and analysis of practical examples from the filmmaker's films (La grande bellezza, Partnehope, È stata la mano di Dio).

Note

Cristiano Travaglioli started in the film industry as an assistant and gradually rose to become one of the most prominent European editors of today. He has collaborated with director Paolo Sorrentino for many years, with whom he has made award-winning films such as Il Divo, The Great Beauty (European Film Award for Best Editing), Youth, This Must Be the Place and the series The Young Pope. In addition to these collaborations, he has worked on other notable projects in Italian cinema, including Another Woman's Face, The Mafia Kills Only in Summer and Black Souls. He has won a number of prestigious awards for his work, including the European Film Award for Best Editor.
