The second semester of the Studio Photography course builds on the practical foundations acquired in the first semester. Students work both in teams and individually on the preparation and execution of an advertising photography project. The course is conducted as a two-day, full-day workshop held twice per semester.
The semester focuses on the entire process of creating advertising photography: from defining the brief, through visual preparation (moodboard), to the realization and final execution of the project. Students choose the theme and product according to their own interests.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, students:
– Understand the structure of an advertising brief and are able to work according to its requirements.
– Can create a moodboard and visually communicate the intent of a project.
– Are capable of managing the entire production process of advertising photography, from preparation to final execution.
– Work independently as well as in a team, with an awareness of role hierarchy within the photography team.
– Develop a portfolio that meets the technical and aesthetic standards of professional commercial practice, while reflecting their individual artistic perspective.
