Module is meant to convey and expand students knowledge in the area of bookbinding. In the process students will learn the knowledge and experience necessary to be able to create their own bookbindings. The module will start from the basis of V1 bookbinding throughout Japanese style bookbindings and will finish with classical sewn V4 / V5 bookbindings. Entire process will be demonstrated on real sewing of the specific binds. We will also look into finishing processes (trimming, gluing, and pressing) and optional specific alterations.
