Contents

The consultant/teacher is the renowned French director Jeremy Clapin. Students will get feedback from him on their upcoming film.

The student will prepare a presentation of his/her upcoming film (content described in the previous point).

The materials will be sent to the teacher - Jeremy Clapin.

The student will then meet with the teacher for a one-to-one consultation.

Students will communicate the outcome of the consultation in this module to their film supervisors.

Learning outcomes

Renowned French director Jeremy Clapin will give students a new insight into their upcoming master's films and offer dramaturgical advice.

The module is another perspective, complementing the film preparation already underway with other tutors and the film supervisor.

Students will then present the outcome of the consultations in this module to their film supervisors.

FORM OF STUDY:

Individual consultation. The exact format will depend on the tutor. Assumption:

-preparation of a project for presentation including translation into English.

-60 min. direct individual consultation.

Prerequisites and other requirements

1/ Completion of the faculty masterclass Jeremy Clapin 20.5.2024 in Studio FAMU and lecture at KAT Jeremy Clapin 21.5.2024 in 415 at KAT

2/ A clear, concise and lucid presentation of the upcoming film:

Director's Explication (max. 1 page)

Literary script (max. 2 pages)

storyboard, possibly animatic

For projects that are still in the early stages of development, less material will suffice, but it must form a clear picture of what the student wants to do.

For projects at an advanced stage of development, additional materials (teaser, tests, etc.) may be submitted.

The materials must be in English.

By 30.4.2024 the student will upload his/her presentation in a folder with his/her name:

Preparation and timely submission of the presentation, participation in the consultation, active cooperation with the teacher.
