Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students create a short animation exercise using all animation technologies and a short etude in one of them.

Mode of study

The course aim is to introduce students to the particulars of creating animated film created on a surface under a camera hung on an animation table - surfac animation, relief animation, sand and granulate material animation, painting animation, object animation.

The course aim is to introduce students to the particulars of creating animated film on a surface under a camera hung on an animation table - surface animation, relief animation, sand and granulate material animation, painting animation and object animation.

Instruction content

This course is devoted to the particulars of creating animatied film by stop-motion animation on an animation table with multiplane equipment and suspended camera (digital camera).

Completion of this course requires structured home preparations, 3-4 hours/week.

The exam is granted for the submitted animation exercise and etude including preparation activity.
