Information on the combined form:
The course is taught in a combined form of contact and non-contact teaching in a ratio of approximately 1:4, i.e. 40 hours distance learning, 10 hours full-time per semester.
The teaching content of the course Pedagogical Seminar TaV 3 is focused primarily on developing independent pedagogical practice, in which the student applies and actually verifies the knowledge and skills acquired from the Didactics and Methodology TaV classes, the material of which is built upon and developed towards capturing and developing the creative potential of children.
The course is closely linked to the content of the Didactics and Methodology of TaV.
The aim of studying the subject is
- development of independent pedagogical thinking and creative potential and application of the acquired knowledge in the form of creating assignments or games that develop the creative potential and natural movement of the child, taking into account the age category.
- Practical development of independent pedagogical work, awareness of the role and role of the teacher, formation of individual pedagogical style and direct confrontation with real situations in the form of teaching at selected state institutions (ZUŠ) or in private dance studios.
Thematic areas
- use of equipment in teaching - e.g. circles, jump ropes, elastic bands, balloons, balls, scarves, feathers, paper, chalk, lightweight foil, large fabric
- movement games with tools - space, qualities of movement, rhythm, dynamics, story
- movement games - designing with a focus on specific age and gender groups, group size
- creative assignments in relation to different age groups
In the third semester, the student will be required to actively participate in one of the recommended departmental shows or festivals
(Siraex Klášterec nad Ohří, Tanfest Jaroměř, Dancefestival Trutnov, Podzimní fantazie Jablonec nad Nisou, Tanec,
dance... Jablonec nad Nisou), which includes at least one intensive workshop.
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is

Evaluation methods and criteria
Credit is awarded on the basis of practical participation in the seminar, the student creates and presents his own lesson for the specified age group based on the assignment from the topics covered and documents it on a video recording of his own teaching.
Additional requirements: creation of a video recording of own lesson on the assigned topic, orientation in the thematic areas of both semesters, creation of a portfolio (reflection on a recommended industry show or festival), 100% attendance.
Note
Teaching combines monological, applied, interactive teaching methods, encourages self-study within the framework of non-contact learning and student's critical thinking. The student is encouraged to create his/her own portfolio based on the acquisition of his/her own experience and skills.
Distance contact will be provided:
phone, email, video calls
through group platforms for communication between students (social networks, internet, apps, moodle, etc.)
The student's independent work within the contactless learning consists of:
- active participation in a selected national trade show or festival with an intensive workshop and
the development of a feedback report to be reported orally in the contact teaching
- seeking out sources of inspiration in the field of movement and music and recording them in their portfolio
- studying the assigned literature
- creating their own lesson for a given age group based on the assignment from the topics covered and documenting it in a video recording of their own teaching.
- searching for and collecting specialist information related to the topics covered in the third semester, sharing
this knowledge and confronting it with the teacher and with other students in contact teaching
