Contents

The course develops the artistic possibilities of visualizing scenographic, and spatial work and the individual aptitude of the student.

In particular, emphasis is placed on the teaching of portrait drawing, the human figure, still life, and the figure in the context of space. Perception of the historical context within figurative/spatial expression is also an important aspect of instruction. The student also learns from historical art practices. The structure of the human body/anatomy and specific direction towards the artistic expression of the architectural brief is an important part of the learning. The program of instruction is always related to the current requirements of the instructor of the Scene Design major.

The course develops the artistic possibilities of visualizing scenographic work and the student's abilities.

Prerequisites and other requirements

The ability to creatively solve assigned tasks in the intentions of the study goal.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Evaluation and recognition of the quality of drawings and paintings produced during the semester, 75% participation in class. Completion of semester assignment (12 drawings/paintings DIN A 1).
