Contents
The course is dedicated to individual work of the student on final master thesis, including research and writing. The work is supervised by a supervisor - teacher of one of partner universities.
The student is obliged to appoint at least 4 consultations with his/her supervisor throughout the semester in person or online (especially in case, when supervisor is from other partner university than the one, where the respective student spends last semester).
Learning outcomes
In the field of knowledge (K), the student:
- has an extended knowledge of puppet theatre in its historical and cultural context and in the context of other artistic disciplines and is able to develop this knowledge independently.
- is familiar with the bibliography of the field.
- demonstrates a deep understanding of the relationship between the practical and theoretical aspects of study and uses this knowledge to further artistic development.
In the field of skills (S), the student:
- iIs able to formulate (in oral and written form) ideas on themes related to the performing arts.
- is able to carry out independent, individual work such as gathering, analysing and interpreting information within a theatre idea, formulating a critical argument, intrinsic motivation and organising independent work.
- knows effective techniques for improving one's own professional skills that allow immediate development through independent creative work
In the field of social competences (SC), the student:
- is able to reflect on the social, scientific and ethical aspects of their work. Will be able to transfer his/her knowledge to others interested in the field.
- is able to make self-evaluation

Evaluation methods and criteria
Credits are awarded upon successfull submiting the final version of Master Thesis into Academic Information System (KOS) and meeting the required minimal number of consultations with the supervisor.
