Contents

The seminar is aimed at teaching the student how to conceptually develop the theatre performance and to describe it in the form of a director’s copy. The work should be a conglomerate of the knowledge acquired during other courses so it all becomes an element of the director’s set of skills. On the basis of a dramatic text the student should know how to formulate the thesis of the performance to be, find his/her own means of theatrical expression and compose a unified entirety of it all. The student should also master the elementary skills of writing a theatre script. Objectives: Development of individual skills of the student needed in the job of the puppet theatre director in the field of initial preparation and description of the idea of the future theatrical performance. Analysis of the literary material. Description of the idea of the literary material. Description of the idea of the performance. Description of the means of expression matching the ideas of the director. Preparation of the theatrical script.
