Contents

Students will learn a number of different styles of movement and dance and their basic forms. In the style classes students will learn different styles in workshops that concentrate on different parts of the body. Styles include tai chi, acrobatics, juggling, rhythmic foot movement, kendo, different styles of dances, karate, hip-hop, funk-jazz, Lindy hop and Pilobolus-style strength exercises. Movement classes have two parts: warming up and style classes. Warming up is essential before the other exercises and students will learn techniques that enable them to individually reach a physically and psychically alert, creative state.
