The workshop „Green Storytelling“ will provide participants with practical skills for writing scripts with an emphasis on sustainability. In the 3-4 hour workshop, participants will learn about the concept of „Implicit Green Storytelling“, which shows how to naturally incorporate ecological thinking into the motivations of characters and their lifestyles. Furthermore, the workshop will introduce the principles of „Pragmatic Green Storytelling“, which focuses on the practical aspects of sustainable screenwriting, such as optimizing film locations, etc.
This workshop is suitable for directors and/or screenwriters, and possibly producers as well. It is recommended that producers attend in pairs, either with a director or screenwriter, or alone as creative producers if they are developing their own project. Ideally, participants should participate in small teams of two, but this is not a requirement. All participants should bring their own project or idea (in early or more advanced stages of development) to work on during the workshop.
Capacity in the workshop is limited, please register by October 11 at: tereza.stastna@goethe.de and also in KOS.
The workshop will be conducted in English.
The workshop will be followed by a panel discussion:
16:00 - 17:30 Goethe Institut, 2nd floor hall
