Contents

The student makes a choice of an event or a process, which develops in time of few hours, maximum one day, and makes a dynamic film report without using synch sound (and making additional sound composition based on sounds collected on the place). Film uses key elements of real process (characters, way of development) to build a narrative structure.

Learning outcomes

By going through this exercise, the student shall first of all put into practice the essential act of observation: to perceive the reality around them and detect the extraordinary among the ordinary.

As important, the student will think in cinematic terms at the time of approaching and narrating the object/subject of their film, embracing the limitations of the project in order to give unicity and character to the final result and therefor transcending a simple ‘reportage’ and becomes an actual film report.

Prerequisites and other requirements

Development and pre-production of the project + pitching.
