Course contents

Learning objectives:

The main focus of the course is the preparation of the graduate concert. The student is guided to independently prepare the dramaturgy of the concert, including a unifying idea linking the whole programme. Regular consultations concerning the preparation of the Master's thesis also take place in the course Preparation of Master's Thesis.

At the same time, the student learns to name all the attributes of playing (principles of correct finger technique, tonal culture, etc.) on the guitar, to analyse them, to be able to explain and independently solve possible combinations of problems that may arise in performance practice. The student is guided to understand the psychological aspects of the soloist-performer's activity. The student acquires further knowledge in the field of interpretation not only of traditional but also of modern or non-traditional techniques and forms.

Thematic areas:

  1. Dramaturgical preparation of the graduation concert
  2. Study of compositions for the graduation concert
  3. Analysis of the attributes of guitar playing
