Contents
The aim is to educate students in the area of the theory of drama in education, theatre and education in the Czech Republic and abroad (forms, possibilities, language differences, etc.) Students will study recordings of various forms of drama in education and TIE and relevant English text. Subsequently they will present one paper/book at the colloquium.
The subject is taught in English.

- Various form of theatre in education, theatre and education.
- Meaning and function of drama in education.
- Forms of drama in education and theatre in education.
- Theatre played by children and youth in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Learning outcomes
Student
- knows basic principles of drama in education and the theory of drama in education/theatre in education;
- judges viewed recordings of theatre in education with the use of suitable vocabulary;
- is conversant with selected forms of drama in education in the Czech Republic and abroad;
- is conversant with theatre festivals for children or youth in the Czech republic and abroad;
- has basic professional vocabulary.
