Learning outcomes of the course unit

1.Students will be to evaluate individual aspects of various project management tools and methodologies according to their own experience. They will be able to determine, which procedures tools and methods are suitable for their own needs and goals (and which are not necessary in specific situations).

2.Students will be able to prepare simplified Business Case to overview their goals and aims in a broader perspective and to balance between benefits of the project and its goals.

Mode of study

Group activities, students bring their own specific task or problems from their own actual or future project, or they practice on prepared model tasks. The course is held in four five-hour education blocks.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Completion of preceding subject Project Management II.

Course contents

The goals of the course are to apply the principles of Project Management and planning in current or future application areas of each student. The classes are focused on real examples and situations brought in by students.

Assessment methods and criteria

Independent activity of students is expected. Students will bring their own practical problems arising from the project management and issues to be solved in the class.
