Contents
The module focuses on individual professional consultations of audiovisual projects of students under the guidance of the renowned French director and screenwriter of Bosnian origin Lucile Hadžihalilović, one of the most prominent authors of contemporary European cinema.
The content of the module is the preparation of the submitted audiovisual work for professional presentation and individual consultation, including the preparation of documents and presentation of the project in English according to the instructions of the International Department of FAMU. Students will receive professional feedback focused on artistic, dramaturgical and formal aspects of the submitted work, as well as suggestions for its further creative development.
Individual face-to-face consultations will take place in the Reference Screening Room of the FAMU Studio in English according to a set schedule on 22 and 23 April 2026. The duration of each consultation is approximately 60-90 minutes.
Learning outcomes
By completing the module, students will gain the ability to professionally present their own audiovisual project in an international context, including its preparation and communication in English. Based on an individual consultation with Lucile Hadžihalilović, they will deepen their competences in dramaturgical reflection, authorial argumentation and critical thinking about their own work.
Students will further develop the ability to respond to professional feedback and apply dramaturgical and formal suggestions to the further development of the submitted audiovisual project.
Prerequisites and other requirements
For the smooth running of the consultation, the interaction of students with the International Department is essential. FAMU regarding the preparation of the submitted AV work and the selection of the consultation time slot on the required dates.

French director and screenwriter of Bosnian origin Lucile Hadžihalilović is one of the most original voices in contemporary European cinema. Her visually captivating films are characterised by her ability to build a distinctive cinematic universe and her precise portrayal of a dreamlike, often unnerving atmosphere. Her work (e.g. Innocence, Earwig and most recently La Tour de Glace) reflects on themes of isolation, adolescence and the transformation of the body, often told through the perspective of child characters. Her films regularly receive nominations and awards at festivals in Berlin, Toronto, Cannes and San Sebastian.
Evaluation methods and criteria
The condition for obtaining credit is preparation and 100% participation in individual consultation, active cooperation with the consultant. Proof of attendance by signing the attendance sheet on April 22 and 23, 2026.
